I was in Bahja mall the other day, and I just had to stop to show you guys these men's sandals.
Have you seen Lord of the Rings? Well, I found Leogolas's sandals.
That was the first pair that stopped me. There was a sandal that looked like a great big green leaf from Lothlorian to wrap around your foot. I find this hard to picture with an Omani man's dishdasha.
Then there was a shiny maroon coloured number that reminds me of the coat Morpheus wears in the "Matrix"movie right beside it.
But...to my horror, there were also some shiny-striped metallic numbers, so you can match...yourself...to your wife's suri silk/Omani dress from Sur?
I dunno.
They were just incredibly BAD, and made me laugh.
But kudos to the man who could pull them off. You'd have to be a fantasy/sci- fi character, or a rock star, but...lol. Anyways. Yeah. Enough from me.
